What others are saying about Mindfulness Training for Adults:
"I highly recommend Tripty's mindfulness courses. I originally signed up for the 8 week mindfulness for adults course in order to lend extra support for my daughter who was taking the mindfulness for children class at the time. Not only did this enhance my daughter's journey into mindfulness, but I also learned so much more about myself in the process. Indeed Tripty's mindfulness teachings soon became an incredibly helpful lifeline when some unexpected life events suddenly gave rise to a great deal of anxiety. Because of Tripty's help, my mindfulness practice is providing much needed calm and insight during a time of uncertainty. I'm very grateful to Tripty for all her wonderful guidance." _Fiona (Science Writer)
I would also like to share a small personal success story with you: This morning, my thoughts had me racing in several different directions, culminating in my mind determining that I was destined for a nervous breakdown and my body responding accordingly - clenched teeth, tight tummy, nagging my children, panic etc..... I brought myself into the present moment, did a mental exercise of "The Work" and completely changed the course of my day :-) My morning at work has been most productive, my outlook is positive and I am just keeping in the moment. I did it!!" _ Jacinta
"I found the classes really interesting and quite powerful although challenging at times (emotionally and intellectually). I thought the format and progression of ideas worked very well! The thing I found most valuable in these classes was the discovery that just because I tell myself something that doesn't make it true! Challenging long-held beliefs was useful for me. The power to question some of my beliefs and leave them behind me I have found quite enlightening!" _Melita (Registered Nurse)
"I am a retired teacher and have found Mindfulness most helpful in my life. For some time I have been suffering physical pain but after a term of mindfulness it is so much better. I feel it has helped my pain management. Due to the mindful practices I have been doing over the last few weeks, for the first time since I hurt my shoulder I have felt pain relief. For over a year now I have suffered with a ‘Frozen Shoulder’ and associated painful neck which often goes into spasm because of the shoulder. During this time I’ve had physiotherapy and been doing exercises to help my shoulder but it wasn’t improving much. Amazingly since I’ve been doing daily mindfulness especially mindful breathing and walking, my shoulder and neck are feeling a lot better. I‘ve become aware that when I focus on my breath, my mind is not thinking about the pain. I am more calm and relaxed in my relationships with others.
Thank you so much Tripty." _Jan (Teacher)
"Thanks Tripty- I enjoyed the class, I was directed to good books and articles at your class and from your Facebook page. I feel this has been a good start for me in my 'mindful' journey. I found all aspects of mindfulness useful." _Ann (Registered Nurse)
"I was able to learn how to e truly present and this has been an incredibly valuable revelation for me. The breathing exercises worked for me. Staying present was a revelation and I now enjoy meditation! I get more out of it. I learnt how to accept the present moment and all the benefits that it brings" _Participant, Term 3, 2016
"The course provides tools and tips for implementation of the theory, the practical exercises and the extra material provided as homework. It has real and immediate exercises to help practice and reach mindful and meaningful results. I would highly recommend this course to anyone wanting more peace, presence and purposefulness in their life." _Toni (Manager)
"A couple of new courses started in Term 3, 2014 The first is Mindfulness or the Art of Conscious Living. This course has been created by Dr Tripty Hirani. Tripty is a former research scientist who made an enormous and brave life change and now runs her own counselling practice in Chapel Hill, Transformative Holistic Counselling. Seven of us were lucky enough to participate in Tripty's first course. We were introduced to the concept of mindfulness and how being engaged and attentive to the present moment can truly change your perspective on life while reducing stress. Tripty teaches with plenty of practical examples and offers different techniques (and homework!) so that we were able to practice in a way that we found accessible. After eight weeks of practicing the techniques I definitely feel calmer and happier and I will really miss connecting with a wonderful group of people each week!" _ Tess (Coordinator of Kenmore Community Education)
"Mindfulness has brought back the spark of life into my life. It's the realisation that I need to look inside myself to find happiness. It sounds simple, but what exactly are we talking about ? Tripty guides you each week with new simple concepts that you can practice in your busy day to day life. Discover what it really means to be present and how a little help goes a long way. Live a conscious life and others around you will follow. Thank you Tripty, I am so grateful to have you in our local community" _ Michele (Owner, Chicoz Photography)

What parents and children are saying about Mindfulness Training for Children:
"These classes have been absolutely spot-on for my daughter - the insights that she has gained into her own thinking-body-feeling cycle are so important! I know that it will take practice and reinforcement to allow these insights to filter into everyday life, but I feel that we have planted a very important seed! It was helpful for me as the parent to observe and learn. The small classes and individual attention in class was excellent. Tripty_ it is so evident that you absolutely get where they are coming from and your ability to understand and educate the kids is amazing. I am so glad that I heard about these classes and I am keenly recommending them to others!" Melita, Mom of 8 year old
"I found that Ben would come away from class feeling a lot calmer and relaxed! Also happy that now he has a way of dealing with situations that come up either at school or home -especially when he is feeling anxious or his head is full. The practice of deep breathing. Reinforcement of how to calm down in certain situations. Group discussions were great. Mindfulness is an important tool for kids to learn to cope in stressful situations -should be taught in school!" Sophy, Mom of 8 year old
"My daughter took Tripty's mindfulness for children course, and it has been wonderful for her. Over the course of the 8 weeks, my daughter's focus has improved, as has her ability to deal with stress or worry. Her school teacher has also reported that her attention-span in class and quality of school work has also improved. My daughter seems happier and even more affectionate lately and, have done the mindfulness for adults class myself, it's nice to have little mindfulness breaks together to just be in the moment." Fiona, Mom of 9 year old
"I thought the classes were very well structured; each built on the previous class and helped guide the students to arrive at a good understanding of mindfulness and its key concepts. I would recommend these classes to others as its been 'very' helpful to use as a tool to help Hatty (and myself) discuss, acknowledge, accept and 'ride' emotions, and I can see this being extremely useful to others. Thank you Tripty, the classes are very inspirational." Victoria Hotston, Mom of 7 year old
"Coming back for a second term was so beneficial for us both. Gave us the opportunity to build on what we had learn't in the first term and reinforce the important life skills. Returning again has shown that Mathew is recalling on his own how to utilise the tools he has been learning each week." Bronwyn, Mom of 9 year old
"Very calm, nurturing environment- the children felt safe and comfortable. Exercises were easy to understand and put into practice. Tripty is a great teacher -very patient and exudes a sense of peacefulness while remaining focused on class objectives." Mom

"Izzy has enjoyed the classes with you. She was always looking forward to it. I really liked the moving wiggling part to the beginning of the class. I think the practical parts, tasting, feeling, the focus rock, really worked with her. If there was too much listening, she would zone out." Mom of 6 year old
"I have found the Mindfulness Classes have given Belle a new confidence in her own ability to control her behaviour and cope with her emotions. She was noticeably calmer during the weeks she was attending classes. I believe the attendance itself validated that her feelings and problems are real and worthy of attention. In addition the techniques she learn't in the classes gave her tools to give her more control and choice about how to behave when she's not coping." Mom of 7 year old
"When enrolling our 10 year old daughter in the 'mindfulness for kids' class, she was initially a bit skeptical. Tripty managed to engage her within a few session and enabled our daughter to become more consciously aware of her emotions. Our daughter is now using her newly gained understanding to independently initiate Tripty’s techniques to calm herself from time to time. It was her own wish to repeat the course to deepen and anchor understanding in these techniques." Lydia Hass
and;
